Cooking lessons to these families are not just about their passion for cooking but about sharing their very special and unique culture. The area has an abundance of fresh local ingredients such as fresh fish, lemons, basil, olives and much more. Liguria is famous for pesto sauce using fragrant basil leaves and it's speciality olive oil and foccacia bread.
These Italian cooking lessons in Cinque Terre offer a hands-on experience whereby you will be preparing a 4 course meal using traditional and authentic methods. The lessons are not rushed and you will be given plenty of time to learn methods and ask questions.
Owing to our expanded success in 2017 our lessons are held seven days a week and start at 10am with a view to lunch at around 1pm. After the meal you will be given time to relax in this wonderful location and speak with your tutor and fellow participants.

My husband and I were recently in Italy for our honeymoon. During our time in Cinque Terre we participated in a cooking class at the Cinque Terre Cooking School and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! The location is spectacular with the most amazing views and this great local cafe. It would be great for small groups, couples and families depending on the age (probably not younger than 6 or 7). But it's a great hands on activity and you get to enjoy all the food you cooked too! The chef was knowledgeable and a lot of fun to work with. The recipes were unique to the region, yet something we could replicate when we got home, which we have already many times! We would highly recommend this experience if you visit Cinque Terre!

We recently attended a Cooking Lesson at this Cookery School and we all had the most wonderful day! We have a small son and we thought this may be difficult for him to follow but he really enjoyed it. The chef took time to explain everything properly and paid special attention to our son, which was perfect. We prepared a four course meal including Anchovies, Pesto Pasta, a delicious fish main course and we made a cake for dessert which was amazing.. Of all things things that we did in Cinque Terre this was by far the best.. It is a great family activity which I would highly recommend. Since we have been back home our son has been much more interested in cooking and I know he would love to do some more lessons.. This really is a must do!
